Asthma Medication at School (Reliever inhaler)

Students with asthma need a reliever medication inhaler easily accessible at all times and must take it as prescribed by their doctor. This medication provides quick relief from asthma symptoms.

Students should be able to carry their own inhaler medication with them. Younger students may have the office or Teacher keep their inhaler for them. For students under 16 years of age, parents/guardians must complete a Plan of Care indicating permission to carry inhalers.
